CHANEL Cruise 2021/22 collection by Virginie Viard, debuted with a virtual show at the Carrières de Lumières, in Les Baux-de-Provence, in the south of France. It was a delight to watch the models walk the white limestone quarry in striking black & white ensembles that were inspired by the 60s and punk.
Keeping up with the contrasting two-tone collection, the makeup too, reflected the modernity of the 60s and that of punk. A palette of black, glossy nude and bright pink (Chanel beauty products) was used to create the crisp yet bold makeup looks that added drama and enhanced the overall look.
The eyes were given a bold cat eye by heavily lining the lower and upper eyelids. The lashes were further enhanced with a thick coat of mascara. The dark, bold and dramatic eyes stood out on the runway.
The lips were coated with pink and topped with glossy nude sheen for a high-shine effect. Rosy cheeks completed the 60s and punk inspired looks that’s fresh, modern and strong. Check out the backstage beauty looks from Chanel Cruise 2021/22 Collection.
