A classic take on the sultry dark smokey eyes, the Nicole Miller Autumn/Winter 2015 Fashion Show presented a new chic girl makeup that is bound to hit high on the popularity chart any time soon. Here’s why.
The collection, presented for the MBFW Fall 2015 at Lincoln Center on 13th February 2105, was inspired by the mysterious of the dark, mythical forest. Thus, even the makeup was made to resonate that feel. The look, created by makeup expert James Kaliardos with MAC products, gave a new take on smokey eyes using ‘brown’ instead of black shadow and was, as the artist put it, created for a ‘Smokey Chelsea girl’ who lives in Manhattan.

To create the Nicole Miller Fall 2015 smokey eyes:
James Kaliardos, graciously, has given the exact MAC studio products that he used to achieve the look.

For the skin, he used Water-weight SPF 30 foundation, studio concealer and correct palette. He then powdered the face with Prep + Prime Transparent finishing powder and added some color to the cheeks using Sincere Rev. Powder Blush.
-
The shade used to achieve the gorgeous smokey eyes was Rich Brown Midnight Well Eye shadow. All one had to do was blend it on the eye lids just like they would for a normal black smokey eyes. The eyes were then tight-lined using Feline Kohl Power Eye pencil, also using it to define the upper eye lid. Finally, for the luscious lashes, the Upward Lash mascara was used.

On the lips, James used Lady-Be-Good M·A·C Retro Matte Liquid Lip-color to complete the perfect Smokey Chelsea girl look.
-
Eyebrows should be bold and natural looking.
This gorgeous makeup was complemented by the elegant and sleek low ponytail. Created by Edward Tricomi, it was a quick and easy ‘Street Style meets High Fashion’ hairstyle that any girl could do it herself.
