One of the most common complains while applying mascara is how it splatters all over the under eye area. In fact, many a times, the mascara flakes can reach the cheek. This can be downright irritating because taking off the mascara marks is an ordeal in itself, especially because mascara is usually applied after the base makeup is done. Applying the base makeup all over again – and getting the right shade which matches the previously applied base makeup and blending it well can be a task too. However, you can do away with the flakes and marks, and apply mascara effortlessly by following one simple beauty tip.
Hold a tissue paper against your lower eyelid, in a way that it covers the the entire face on one side, before you apply the mascara (see photo). This extremely simple step will ensure that the mascara flakes and drops, if any, fall on the tissue instead of on your face.
Applying Mascara Without splattering over the under eye
This is the most effective and easiest way to apply mascara effortlessly. You can work the mascara wand the way you want without having to worry about black splodgy marks on your face. So, make the tissue paper your ally while applying mascara – for getting that fine finish.
