UNICEF held its 9th Annual Snowflake Ball at Cipriani on 42nd Street in New York City on November 27. The Snowflake galas are fundraising events which aim to one day eradicate preventable deaths in children. The world’s most influential celebrities get all dolled up to show their support and the red carpet wears out from the number of famous heavyweights who are as generous with their wallets as they are beautiful to look at.
This year was no different. The elite dinner boasted attendees from across the globe with several of Hollywood’s best making an appearance in the finest that their wardrobes had to offer.
Model Selita Ebanks sported a heart-stopping ensemble as she attended the do.
What she wore:
Show-stopping scarlet evening gown

Selita was an absolute vision in a strapless, floor-sweeping gown in a shade of red that did her skin tone the fullest justice. The bodice of the number was made of satin, cinched in by a wide fabric belt at the waist, and fashioned into an asymmetrical peplum silhouette that was more feminine than the regular one, if that’s even possible. The skirt of the dress clung to her hips but flowed down in a more relaxed silhouette from the thigh down to a short train. A slit down the front of the dress revealed her toned pins as she walked but the skirt was otherwise draped beautifully over her form.

This modern, highly-seductive outfit was accessorized to perfection with a fur shrug, a black clutch purse, black pointy ankle-straps and a statement diamond necklace.
Hair and makeup:
Side-swept curls; dramatic makeup
A dress this bold would be incomplete without the right makeup. Selita scored an A+ in that department too. She wore a deep red lippie to complement the dress while her peepers were sharply lined and mascarraed to highlight their beauty fully. The svelte, sophisticated ensemble was given the finishing touches with abundant curls swept over her shoulders.
With such an absolute diva at the fundraising event (and she was far from the only one), we’ve no doubt that UNICEF managed to rake in quite the haul.
