The 2012 amfAR’s Cinema Against AIDS which was held at the Hotel Du Cap on May 24 in Antibes, France welcomed a bevy of beauties who turned up to show their support for the worthy cause. Needless to say, the event was a sea of couture outfits that would make any fashion lover’s heart race.
Model Cara Delevingne made an entrance in this olive green, sleeveless gown with a deep slit showing off her toned legs.
The strappy heels she accessorized with are just so elegant as is the simple side-swept hairdo she chose to style this look with.
Janet Jackson defied age in an all-white halter dress with keyhole detail and a thigh-high slit by Emilio Pucci.
Her loose hair teased back at the crown puts her lovely face and her thousand-watt smile in the limelight.
Kate Upton sported a dramatic basket weave gown by Louis Vuitton.
The couture gown went on to make an even louder statement with a pouf skirt that boasted three tiers. It’s a very aristocratic gown which is perhaps why she chose a bouffantesque up-do that reminds you of 18th century Victorian high fashion. She accessorized with black heels and silvery jewelry also by Louis Vuitton.
We barely recognized Kim Kardashian in this yellow spring number.
The low-cut V neckline and the deep side split are classic Kim, but the color of this dress and the flow of the floor-sweeping skirt are a different look for the socialite. Pair that with the simple hairstyle and the bright red lippie and you have a Kardashian who looks gorgeous, but not quite like her usual self.
Paris Hilton also chose white for the event, although hers was more flamboyant than Janet’s understated classiness.
Paris wore a sleeveless white gown with silver detailing down the front and sheer panels on the side. The blonde beauty accessorized with some knockout bling on her fingers, hands and ears.
Petra Nemcova made a stir in her off-shoulder blazing red gown.
The feathered detailing on the bust and the almost careless train add the perfect touch of drama to the leggy model’s ensemble. That diamond studded neckpiece brings the glamor to round it all up to perfection.
Rose McGowan wore a salmon/rose-colored gown from Atelier Versace’s Fall 2010 collection.
The piece de resistance of the fitted dress was undoubtedly the chiffon train.
Tara Reid was a vision in this simple but poignant sleeveless grey gown with delicate silver embroidery and sequins.
This dress is beautiful! Period.
