The second day of the Canadian royal visit coincided with the Canada Day celebrations and Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge was dressed aptly for the part.
Kate has seldom faced flak for her choice of clothing and we can understand why. She always looks impeccably turned out, whatever the occasion is and she didn’t disappoint us for the 144th birthday celebration of Canada either.
Kate chose to be dressed in red and white – a smart tribute to the Canadian Flag. Her white Reiss dress was the same one that she had worn for her much publicized formal engagement portrait with Prince William. She teamed it up with a red fascinator that had maple leaf designs (another acknowledgment to Canada), a red Anya Hindmarch clutch and red pumps.
The Duchess of Cambridge was indeed stunning in her attire, and managed to play up the polished look with the jazzy clutch. Her makeup was kept to the usual “Kate Middleton” look which comprises of deftly lined eyes in black and neutral lips.
