If you want to go nude, I mean color wise and not literally, then Edie Campbell could just show you how. The leggy British model was seen arriving at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition in a beige Jonathan Saunders dress.
Edie Campbell : Celebrity Street Style
The turquoise and white design worked up the otherwise plain outfit. A belt gave shape to the shirt style dress.
Beige is a shade that works well for summer. You can try out street style by opting for a shift dress in this color. However, you can make the outfit more interesting by adding a colourful belt in a shade like red or blue.
The black men’s style shoes worn with nude socks do give Edie a school girl look but they are also imparting a drab feel to the ensemble as a whole. A pair of ballerinas would have suited it more, especially in a color like red that complements beige.
To make this look stand out, you can try matching your bag, belt and shoes in the same tone. If you think that is too strong then match any two of them.
Ms Campbell’s hairstyle is apt for the attire and is quite easy to do it yourself. All you have to do is tie your hair into a high ponytail. If you do not have bangs, then you can do a back brush and tie the hair. You can even opt for a side parting.
The makeup has been kept minimal. If you do not have flawless skin then apply some foundation on your face to even out blemishes, freckles or patches. Follow this up by sweeping some copper eye shadow all over the upper eye lid, take care not to overdo it. A coat of mascara will define your eyes more without making it look overtly made up. Finish it with a rosy blush applied on the apples of your cheeks and a dab of nude lipper.
Copying this street style look takes minimal effort but you can do it with elan just like Eliza.
