Celine Dion wore some of the best designers and their stunning designs at the Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace recently. She was seen in Elie Saab, Armani Prive and Balmain for her performances. Dion has already had a five year stint with Caesar’s Palace which ended in December 2007 and is now about to begin a three year contract with them again.
The first outfit is an Elie Saab strapless gown with a thigh-high slit. The gown in a light shade of teal is a modified version of a dress from the Spring 2010 collection of the designer. Celine’s version has a glittering detail on the bodice, perfect for a stage performance.
Her second outfit was inspired by the Armani Prive Spring 2009 collection. It was different in the shape of the bodice and the surface detailing. Dion opted for a deep neckline and vertical sequined lines on the surface, unlike the ramp version of the dress which had diagonal lines and plain bodice.
Celine looked gorgeous in her third outfit for the evening, a shimmering gold short dress by Balmain. She took the stage with energy and the long gold fringes around the neckline complemented her movements.
Her last look was also courtesy Balmain, a black sequined dress from the Fall 2010 collection. The full sleeve gown had shoulder pads and a side slit. The look was finished with interesting heels by Guiseppe Zanotti featuring parallel bands till the ankles. Celine, however, did not choose to sport the broad belt in the original design of the dress.
Celine Dion’s picks for her performances were exquisite and made her look different each time, despite little or no experimentation with the hair and make up.
