Alexander Wang, 24, is all set to launch his new clothing line “essentials” in 2010. After the huge success of his first range “T”, Alexander aspires to take on the fashion stage. The “essentials” range will comprise of few basic clothing items such as trousers, jackets and shirts and will be completely different from “T”.
Alexander Wang popularly known for creating masculine and edgy women’s wear designs entered the business in the end of year 2004 along with his brother and sister-in-law without much knowledge of the industry and experience. They all came from different fields, he was only a fashion student then, his brother was a lawyer and sister-in-law had an experience in a production house. The success has been great for them.
