Princess Charlene of Monaco looked every bit the royal as she attended a gala dinner at Schloss Bellevue in Berlin, Germany on July 9.
What she wore:
Gold-embroidered gown
The Princess did indeed look like something out of a modern fairytale in a sleeveless, off-white, full-length gown that had intricate gold embroidery in a floral pattern. It also boasted a short train. The effect was one of tasteful glamour and full-on sophistication.
The length of the dress prevented us from getting a peek at her footwear, but we’re betting it was just as gorgeous as the rest of her. Her only accessories included diamond stud earrings and a grey box clutch purse.
Hair and Makeup:
Elegant updo; natural makeup
Her glossy hair was loosely pulled back into a simple, low updo, every hair in its place. This allowed her kohl-lined bue eyes to really stand out. A glossy nude lippie completed her look.
Get the Look
Gold-embroidered dresses are best reserved only for very formal occassions. Don’t ruin the look by piling on the jewelry. Keep it simple and understated. Also avoid heavy makeup as it will steal the limelight from the dress and may very well clash with it too.
