Cannes is back for the 65th time, to be accurate.
Fashionistas rejoice. At every event of this grand festival we will see a bevy of beauties from around the word in to-die-for ensembles. The premiere of “Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted” which was screened at Cannes Film Festival 2012 day 3 at the Palais des Festival in Cannes, France on May 18, brought us red carpet gowns which we drooled over so much we forgot to write this post
Natasha Poly wore an emerald green gown with a plunging neckline from Gucci’s Fall 2012 collection. She looks like a futuristic goddess.

Paz Vega looks simply divine in this breathtaking number from the Stephane Rolland’s Spring 2012 Couture. Words do not do this look justice…

Naomi Watts sported a feather-embroidered gown with a cascade skirt from Marchesa’s Fall 2012 Collection. This is honestly a very difficult dress to pull off but she does it with panache.

Victoria Silvstedt is stunning in this pale yellow modern-day princess gown. The fit is perfect, we love the flair of that skirt and her understated jewelry is actually quite glamorous.

Delphine Chaneac seems to be channeling Bjork in this frock; all that’s missing is the swan head. We like this version much better though. The bodice in particular is so intricate and delicate – an apt style to complement her own lithe figure.

Fan Bing Bing is a dream in this floor-sweeping, off-shoulder ball gown. The bodice features ethereal golden embroidery that makes her look like something from another world.
