Amy Childs of the “The only way is Essex” fame, finally lived her dream when she walked the ramp for her own Spring summer 2012 range at Gilgamesh, London on March 19, 2012.
For some are blessed with mulch-talents, and this 21-year-old surely managed to grab all our attention when she looked smoking hot in her even more sultry collection.
Her model performance was graced by the presence of Peter Andre, Elen Rivas, Kerry Katona and Steve Alce. In the words of Peter Andre, “She looks great, I love what she wears”. Her collection had clothes with style inspirations from different eras and looks and was made for the woman to feel sensuous and outrageously pretty, every time she sported a piece from this range. She revealed: ‘I am so happy with my Spring/Summer 2012 Clothing Collection – there’s something for all women and this range has some gorgeous bright colors which are perfect for the summer months – I hope that everyone loves them as much as I do.’ She tweeted about her collection also, hoping that everyone endures her collection as much as her.
Amy’s hard work and toil has resulted into this glamorous collection and she showcased it perfectly, with her enviable curves and cleavage showing pieces. “I’ve got a bit of everything.”I’ve got long dresses; I’ve got little short ones. I wanted to do a bit of everything for the summer” said Amy. Through this collection of skimpy play-suits, colorful maxi-dresses, glittering party frocks, body-con; skater; party dresses, leisure wear like shorts, skirts and leggings, she cheerfully talked about her taste in clothes, her fetishes for various styles and penchant for some particular bright shades. Amy had the eyes of the onlookers pop out, when she stepped in a low-cut purple maxi dress. ‘I’d describe my style as fun and girly, although sometimes I like to be more sophisticated. Cheryl Cole is my style icon.’ She loves wearing peep-toes as they make her look taller and sexier and her legs are the favorite part of her body.
With the summer sun donning up on us, Amy kept the heat in mind and designed all the itsy-bitsy pieces. She has her collection suited for the night parties mainly, but also has pieces to be comfy-in during the day. The prints mainly had butterflies, flowers or prowling leopards making the style girly yet glam-doll like. The pieces were stylized with lace and sequins and each piece hugged her body curves to perfection and managed to have each ones adrenaline rushing. Amy set the tone with her bombshell yet casual look in a range of canary yellow dresses and a puff-ball white frock.
Her love for purple was evident with her showing off a full-length gown and a wrap-over strapless sheath in a deeper shade of purple.
Some favorite ensembles from the show were the white halter neck miniscule play-suit which showed ample skin and was carried off with pink heels, the light turquoise cap-sleeve sheath, and animal print gown with a deep V-neckline. The show-stealer definitely was the white t-shirt with cut-out shoulders which scream her favorite phrase “Well Jel” and was paired with pink-colored leopard print tights and candy pink pumps.
Everyone was spellbound to see this summery collection which had style, to suit every girl’s pocket and body type starting at £16.99 and available in sizes from 8 to 16.Being a fashionista herself and having an inborn sense of style, she understands the needs of women for every occasion and body type and we wish her the very best for her upcoming collections.
