Actress Rachel McAdams was dressed to kill at the premiere of her new romantic movie “The Vow” at Graumans Chinese Theater in Los Angeles, California on February 6.
The gorgeous 33-year-old donned a strapless custom-made gown by Vivienne Westwood. The knee-length, figure-hugging number boasted a soft shade of powder blue which we haven’t seen in awhile. She accessorized with pointy nude pumps by Christian Louboutin, plus an exquisite necklace, bracelet, earrings and ring by Pomellato.
The premiere was also the debut of Rachel’s new haircut. After making a big change by dyeing her brown hair blonde, she has now gone in for full heavy bangs. We honestly cannot decide if they are cute or sexy, but either way they make her look phenomenal.
Rachel wore very dark eye makeup and an in-your-face shade of red lipstick. She looked absolutely beautiful. Her whole attire had very subtle colors so it needed to be balanced out with the bold makeup otherwise the ensemble would have looked too washed out. She’s definitely channeling a bit of old Hollywood glamor here.
This is a brilliant look for the red carpet. We’re counting the days to see what this stylish beauty (among others) will be wearing to the Oscars.
“The Vow” is a love story about a woman who loses her memory after a car crash and her husband’s attempts to make her remember him again. This one’s sure to be a tearjerker just like Rachel’s past movies like “The Notebook” and “The Time Traveler’s Wife“. So keep your tissues handy when you go watch this one.
