Sharon Osbourne has stated that she will not be making any payments in order to settle the recent breach of promise allegations thrown at her by a jewelry company who accuse the rock matriarch of backing out of a verbal contract.
The bosses at Lucas Design International claim that Osbourne approached them last year to create a line of products which she could put up for sale on the Home Shopping Network, but she decided not to go ahead with them at the last minute.
Last week, the firm filed charges against Osbourne for unspecified damages. However, the reality TV star is refusing to back down.
On Tuesday, she tweeted that she would never put her name on a product that did not live up to her standards and which were overpriced. She posted that she would take her chances with the lawsuit.
A rep for Osbourne told TMZ.com that there was never any deal between Lucas Designs and Osbourne, adding that while she did have discussions with Lucas Designs about creating a jewelry range, the designs that they submitted for review were sub-par so Osbourne moved on.
