Young Shailene Woodley has already been making waves this awards season. And here she is once more in what red carpet pros would consider a slight risk – a floral-patterned colorful dress that she wore to the 18th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards which were held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California on January 29.
Her sleeveless summery frock is from the L’Wren Scott Spring 2012 Collection. The full-length gown had a blue base with red and white flower patterns. Its fun, youthful, and we’re always grateful for a bit of color on the red carpet. The 20-year-old complemented her outfit with heels by Ferregamo and jewelry by Irene Neuwirth.
Keeping with the casual and relaxed feel of the dress, Shailene chose to wear her hair in a lovely ponytail, and her makeup natural and soft. Summer may be a few weeks away, but this one seems more than enthusiastic about getting a headstart on her look for next season.
Get The Look
This is actually a brilliant summer look for day or night. You can wear it for a day out shopping, a barbecue, or a dinner out with friends. The bright colors, relaxed hair style and make up allow this ensemble to be put together with ease. You can try floral patterns in a shorter style– about knee-length – with flip flops or light slippers to add an extra dose of summery charm.
