Actress Kirsten Dunst won a three-year restraining order against a fan who showed up outside her house without an invitation.
51-year-old Jean Christophe Prudhon has allegedly sent Dunst over 50 love letters, has flown from his home in France to the United States to meet the actress face-to-face, and has also been involved in a confrontation with her mother right on the doorstep of her own home. Dunst was granted a temporary restraining order against Prudhon which was due to expire at the end of January.
However, a hearing on Monday at a Los Angeles court prompted Superior Court Judge Carol Boas Goodson to ban Prudhon from any contact with Dunst or her mother until 2015, thus giving the Spider-Man star some protection for the next three years.
Dunst did not turn up in court for the hearing.
