Actress Rooney Mara is taking Hollywood and the world by storm. Apart from starring in one of the most highly-anticipated movies of 2011 – and doing a damn good job at it – the 26-year-old is stealing the show on every red carpet that she takes a walk down. This was apparent once again on January 4 at the Callao Cinema in Madrid, Spain where she was promoting her film The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo at its Madrid premiere.
Rooney wore an elegant dotted column dress by Rodarte. The tan colored outfit had a slim, sheer black belt and an interesting criss-cross neckline. This dress fell fantastically on her petite frame.
She also wore shoes by Givenchy, although you can’t really see them under that full-length gown.
Her black hair was side parted and pulled back into a sleek low updo, giving us a clean view of her fresh, delicate features. Her makeup was completely nude, which we absolutely love, but a little color – maybe a slash of lipstick – would have looked great too.
Rooney definitely has the ‘it’ factor, that spark in her personality which steals itself into the clothes she wears. We’re going to be looking at another great style choice she made as she continued her promotional tour in Europe, so stay tuned.
Get The Look
Rooney chose to go with the simplest variation possible with this ensemble. And simple usually works best. But if you want a more glamorous look, you can easily jazz this up with some darker makeup or a different hairstyle. Don’t bother with jewelry as it would add nothing to your outfit but would make it look busy. However, a pair of slim dangle drop earrings would go quite well with this lovely creation.
