Jack Johnson has made a generous donation of $30,000 towards helping Africans who are caught up in the current famine.
The singer pledged $10,000 each to the World Food Programme, UNICEF, and Save the Children. All organisations are tirelessly working to provide relief efforts to the famine-stricken Horn of Africa.
On his website, Johnson announced that he was donating $30,000 to three organisations that are working night and day to provide support in every way possible to millions in the regions hit by drought. He also urges fans to donate as well. According to the World Food Programme, $0.50 is all it takes to feed one person per day. So every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference.
