British singer, dancer and songwriter Cheryl Cole, a new judge on the USA version of the X factor arrived at the Galen Centre in California, recently for the first round of auditions of the programme’s new season.
Cheryl wore a color blocked look – an orange ruffle top by Oscar De la Rente and teamed it with high waist purple flared trouser, by Diane Von Furstenberg. The trousers were long, covering Cheryl’s feet completely – while it made Cheryl look even taller, all the same I hope this is one look that does not catch on with the masses as it does add a touch of stunted awkwardness.
The bright colour blocking was accessorized by a sea blue Burberry Prorsum waist belt.

The look was bold, to say the least. It is not often that you see celebrities carry off the color blocking look to an event.
Cheryl kept her hair open (please see separate article discussing her hairstyle) and her makeup included – highlighted eyes and some glossy brown lipstick.
Do you think Cheryl’s bold new look will catch on the high fashion?
