Style icon and first lady of the United States, Michelle Obama wore a red printed Alexander McQueen gown as she attended a state dinner in honour of Chinese President Hu Jintao in Washington D.C. on Wednesday. The silk organza petal-printed gown from McQueen’s 2011 resort collection was very high on glamour and suited Mrs. Obama perfectly.
The outfit featured an asymmetrical (off-shoulder) neckline and boasted of beautiful black brush-stroke print which complemented Michelle well as she posed for state photographs with a narrow wrap around her arms. She wore her hair a chic up do and wore heavy eye makeup with a matching lipcolour.
