Vivo, the China based mobile manufacturer that had entered the Indian market in 2014, has launched its latest range of smart phones entitled ‘Vivo X5 Pro’ in New Delhi. And bringing a high dose of glam factor to the event held on 22nd July was Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut.

Kangana came dressed in a smart Theia Couture suit that she accessorized with nude pumps, Forever 21 neckpiece and Isharya tear drop earrings. For hair and make-up, it was a pouf hairstyle and dewy, dolled eyed face with an orange tinged lip color. It was the whole retro vibe– the flared trousers and the pouf hairdo that brought an interesting twist to Kangana’s outfit. She looked amazing!

Speaking on the launch occasion, the actress expressed her happiness to be associated with Vivo. Their new range Vivo X5Pro has the latest in innovations while its aesthetics has been inspired by nature and art. Kangana described the range as the best in technology and beauty.
Alex Feng, CEO of Vivo India expressed confidence that the Vivo’s latest introduction will delight smart phone fans and set the benchmark for next generation design, manufacture and hi-fi music performance in phones. He said that the New Delhi launch event also celebrated their flagship innovation for the Indian market. Vivo, as he put it, has extreme commitment to quality service pan India.

Presently, Vivo has presence in more than 200 Indian cities. The company expects to start its assembling unit in Greater Noida, India by October this year.
The slim and sleek Vivo X5 Pro comes with a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED 2.5D glass that has a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. Vivo X5Pro runs on Android 5.0 with unique FunTouch OS 2.1 software for increased accessibility. The smart phone has 2GB RAM and 16GB internal ROM which is expandable up to 128 GB. Its processor features a 1.5 GHz Octa-Core 64-bit Snapdragon 615 system on chip (SoC) processor for smoother and faster functionality.
The phone battery has a capacity of 2450 mAh including a battery stamina mode so that the device comes with much longer battery life. The model features a 13MP rear camera and 8MP front camera.
The highlight of the smart phone, however is its eye scanner technology specifically designed to lock the privacy of important information stored by user on the phone. Another key feature is the hi-fi extreme audio experience powered by custom-made DAC AK4375 audio chip that, the company has claimed, gives finer details of the music and audience sensation.

The Vivo X5 Pro priced at Rs. 27,980.00 will be available in Indian market from mid August; pre-booking however will start on 29th July midnight.
