Samsung, the mobile handset giant from Korea launched one its most awaited device, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Smartphone in India. Priced at a competitive Rs. 58,300, the device hit the Indian market just as the Diwali fervour grips India, one of the fastest growing smartphone network globally.
The Galaxy Note 4 features a precise color saturation and high contrast of 5.7” Quad HD Super AMOLED display, 32 GB expandable internal memory, 3 GB RAM, 16 MP rear camera and 3.7 MP front camera resolution. The previous generation Note 3 (N900) is priced at about Rs 38,900 onwards, while its flagship Galaxy 5S is retailing at about Rs 36,000.

The device offers a more authentic pen-like experience and also comes with an enhanced S Pen to serve as the primary interface for routine tasks. Also unveiled was the Samsung Gear S smartwatch, priced at Rs 28,900, which features 512 MB RAM and 4 GB internal memory.
Samsung also unveiled the Gear Circle, a neckband to help control calls/music for about Rs 8,500.
Gracing the launch event which took place in New Delhi on October 14, 2014 was Bollywood actress Gul Panag who was dressed smartly in an LBD paired with nude pumps. She later tweeted, “Congratulations Samsung Mobile India on the launch of the Galaxy Note 4 and the Gear S. Can’t wait to check it out in detail. Delhi. I love technology.”
