Fashion Designer Payal Singhal paid a fitting ode to Kashmir’s enchanting Gulmarg Valley during the Wills India Fashion Week, New Delhi held on October 10, 2014. Aptly entitled ‘Firdaus’ which means Paradise in Urdu, Payal Singhal’s Spring Summer 2015 collection featured a monochromatic color palette of Stone and Black, in exploration of the juxtapose of freedom which has been denied and the feeling of exhilaration that one so experiences in the quaint valley.

Singhal gave a contemporary modern interpretation of traditional Indian clothing; the embellished works were done on Silk, Chanderi, Organza and Tulle fabrics. Models sashayed down the ramp showcasing a stunning collection of contemporary lehengas, tunics, kurtis, salwars, etc.
What better way to give a grand finish to the show other than the beautiful Aditi Rao Hydari as showstopper. The actress wore a stunning stone embellished lehenga choli.

The sleeveless choli was designed to look like a crop top and it had beautiful gold embellishments with front buttons. The black lehenga made of silk and tulle also had delicate geometric embellishments over the body and the border of the skirt had elaborate gold embellished detailing.
Dark smokey eyes and neutral nude lips completed Aditi’s make-up. Her hair was given gorgeous curls and let to fall around her shoulders. Aditi looked exquisite and enthralled everyone present.
