Out of these stars was Deeepika Padukone who stood out on the red carpet in her black Alexander McQueen gown. The floor length dress she slipped into had a prominent keyhole on the neck with chunky patchwork around it.

The gown definitely complimented her svelte figure but there was something missing. Along with the dangling earrings, she should have accessorized with a gold belt to pull the look together.

Her hair was puffed up and made into a ponytail, which always works when you have such beautiful neck detailing. (Though it should have been tied a little higher) As for Miss.

Deepika’s makeup, the shade of maroon lipstick is a colour we adore and is very sexy, but it should have been replaced with a brighter shade like pink or red. This shade of maroon would have suited her had she worn white or a lighter hued outfit.

Coming to Ranveer Singh, he went for a classic black tuxedo with a waistcoat, bowtie and all. Now, we know the boy likes to experiment with his looks, which is always a delight to see but the blue velvet jacket looked quite garish on the carpet and the cute pocket square didn’t quite help.
