Designer Asmita Marwa’s Summer/Resort 2013 collection called “Magic Moon” was showcased at the Lakme Fashion Week this March in Mumbai. The collection was inspired by her meeting with a real life gypsy woman and was created for a 21st century woman wishing to look mysterious, feminine and stylish, in other words, an “Urban Gypsy”.

This line of clothing is very wearable and has a variety of prints, fabrics and surface techniques combined to give us a collection that is traditional yet contemporary. In keeping with the theme, actress Shriya Saran was the show stopper and walked the ramp looking gorgeous in Asmita Marwa’s creations.
