The Chivas Studio 2012 saw a star-studded guest-list rivalled only by film awards night. Several B-town celebs made their way to the Hotel Grand Hyatt in Kalina, Mumbai for a special screening of the short film “Strangers in the Night” directed by Shakun Batra.
Imran Khan with Avantika Malik at Special Screening Strangers of the Night
Imran Khan gave even the female celebs a run for their money in his season-appropriate suit – a fawn blazer over cream pants and a white shirt.

The striped red tie he wore would have made him look like a school-boy if it wasn’t for the awesome color of his blazer. Also check out his matching suede shoes. Very chic, pretty boy!
Glad to hand on to his arm was Avantika Malik in an on-trend green peplum dress which hugged her curves in all the right places. A statement necklace with pastel-shaded ankle-strap peep-toes completed her look.
Tara Sharma was boho glam in a sequinned nude dress and peppy accessories in the form of a gorgeous teal clutch and teal danglers. Her silver ankle-straps seemed a bit off; we’re thinking bronze or gold footwear would have done this outfit more justice.
Tisca Chopra at Special Screening Strangers of the Night
Tisca Chopra married Indian folk to Western wear with a white and black salwar kameez under an embellished waistcoat. This kudi is cute!
Then there were all the yummy lads looking ever so dashing in their suits. Arjun Kapoor, Siddharth Malhotra, Karan Johar and Varun Dhawan make for such delicious eye candy – the best kind because it won’t go straight to our hips!
Funnyman Boman Irani was equally dashing in a beige suit with a white shirt, and brown belt and shoes.
Evelyn Sharma was all soft and feminine in a lace salwar kameez. Delicate embroidery added little hints of exquisiteness all over. Don’t miss her understated nude peep-toes with cream scalloped detailing.
Sanjay Kapoor sported a black velvet blazer. An uber-sensuous fabric that seems to be making quite a comeback. A white shirt, faded dark denims and dark brown boots completed his look.
The Chivas Studio will happen again in Delhi on December 1 and 2 at the very posh ITC Maurya.
