Gaurang Shah showcased India’s rich cultural and artistic heritage in his collection at Lakme India Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2012 in Mumbai on August 5.
The designer presented a range of Indian wear from saris to ghagras, each more striking than the last in textures and prints that highlighted the taste of the modern Indian woman.
His final creation was modelled by the versatile and evergreen Kiron Kher whose very charm is potent enough to steal the show. Team that personality with a brocade sari in rich ivory and you have a combination guaranteed to elicit a thunderous applause from an ecstatic audience.
